Leadership Styles, Employees’ Commitment to Organizational Change, and Organizational Performance: a Study in a Nepali Technology Based Organization

This study investigates the interrelationships between leadership styles, employee’s commitment to change, and organizational performance in a Nepali context. For this crosssectional study, data were collected from employees working in a large technology-based organization. Regression analyses were employed to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings suggested that there is a significant relationship between leadership styles, employee’s commitment to change, and organizational performance. Regression analyses showed that transformational leadership is a strong predictor of employee’s commitment to change and improved organizational performance. These findings are discussed in terms of their practical and research implications.
